What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our patient care team, helping ensure smooth workflow, quality care, and a positive client experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Supporting and advocating for pets while educating clients with warmth and clarity
- Helping with patient handling, sample collection, and basic in-house lab testing
- Maintaining accurate medical records and contributing to efficient patient flow
- Keeping exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use
- Bringing a positive, team-oriented mindset to support excellent patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to teamwork
- Strong communication and client service skills
- At least 1 year of experience in veterinary or animal care preferred
- Experience in vaccine protocols, and surgical monitoring preferred
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of all sizes
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures, terminology, and daily patient care
- A willingness to learn, grow, and support the team in a collaborative environment
Compensation & Culture
Pay is competitive and based on experience, typically ranging from
$19–$22 per hour . The final rate will reflect your skills, experience, and qualifications.
