The 200 Orphanages Worldwide Board of Directors is vital to the continued success of the organization. The main purpose of the Board Member is to provide support for advancing the mission of the organization. We are currently seeking three board members: a CPA, an attorney, and a development volunteer board member. Each position requires 10 years of experience in a professional capacity. Our board is enthusiastic about helping orphans and doing what they can to move our mission forward. Board meetings are quarterly. Other duties include ongoing review of partners and projects for approval, funds disbursement approval, and more. Mission Statement We raise awareness and funds for international orphan care programs helping provide safety, shelter, and sustainability for children in their care. Description We come alongside US-based nonprofits that serve vulnerable children and orphans around the world. Often, organizations struggle to find resources to fund building projects and infrastructure. We help provide funds for safety, shelter, and sustainability. We've funded wells, dormitories, irrigation, livestock shelter, solar water pumps, libraries, dining halls, and repaired roofing and security walls. We've been funding projects since 2008 and look forward to many more projects so that the life of an orphan can be safe and secure.
