About the Role:
Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Youth Sports Instructor, where you'll inspire and develop young athletes in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for those passionate about youth sports and dedicated to fostering teamwork, skill development, and a love for physical activity.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate sports programs for children ages 5-12.
• Teach basic entry level fundamental sports skills while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions that keep kids motivated.
• Monitor and assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating sports events and competitions.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use.

Requirements:

• Experience in coaching or instructing youth sports is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about youth development.
• Availability to work afternoons (between 2-5pm) weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Background in physical education, sports management, or related field is advantageous.
• Reliable transportation to various training school locations in Fairfax, VA. (public transportation is not accepted)
