Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our services team in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and supporting the organization's accounting processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for maintaining efficient financial operations. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including reviewing invoices and reconciling accounts. - Manage billing activities to ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients and stakeholders. - Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial data accuracy. - Enter and maintain financial data in accounting software systems, ensuring precision and compliance with company policies. - Collaborate with team members to prepare financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP to optimize accounting workflows. - Assist in resolving payment issues and discrepancies with vendors and customers. - Maintain organized financial records for auditing and reporting purposes. - Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address accounting inquiries. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes. - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. - Strong ability to perform account reconciliations with attention to detail. - Familiarity with invoice processing and data entry in a meticulous setting. - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external partners. - Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies independently. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
