Job Title: Auto Mechanic Company: Serpentini Chevrolet of Westlake Location: Westlake, OH Job Description: Serpentini Chevrolet of Westlake is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate and timely repair estimates.
• Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues, repairs, and recommended maintenance.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Keep up-to-date with automotive industry advancements and attend training as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and computerized diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues.
• ASE certification or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
