Communication Specialist II

24 Month Initial Contract
Pay: $30-37/hr
Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Communications Platforms Specialist to support both internal and external communications by managing digital tools, content platforms, and analytics. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our communication systems are up-to-date, on-brand, and delivering measurable impact across global channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain internal and external content management systems (CMS), ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards
Assist system administrator within CMS platforms; govern access and workflows
Partner with internal stakeholders to upload, tag, and update content on digital signage, intranet, and external-facing platforms
Provide first-level support for communication tools and platforms (e.g., email tracking, social media publishing, CMS); escalate to IT as needed
Run regular content audits and cleanup activities to maintain platform hygiene and content relevance
Develop and share analytics reports for internal and external platforms, helping teams make data-informed decisions
Train team members and partners on communications platforms and best practices
Maintain consistency in branding across digital channels, including social media and external websites
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in communications, digital content management, or a related field
Proven experience in a large, matrixed corporate environment
Proficient in tools such as Sprinklr, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Suite, Suite Studio, and other CMS platforms
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Self-starter with a passion for learning new systems and tools
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, pharma, or regulated industries
Familiarity with enterprise governance models and content lifecycle management
Understanding of digital signage platforms and social media publishing workflows
Must-Haves:
CMS experience (e.g. SharePoint, Suite Studio)
Analytics/reporting (ServiceNow, Sprinklr, email platforms)
Tagging/content audits
Platform updates and hygiene
First-level troubleshooting before escalating to IT
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
Familiarity with digital signage tools
Knowledge of comms governance and standards
