Warner Bros. Studio Operations is looking for a Director of Special Events to lead the Warner Bros. Special Events department. The Event Director is the strategic leader responsible for a team who is planning, organizing, and executing events that align with organizational goals and exceed audience expectations. This individual oversees all aspects of event management, from conceptualization to execution, while managing and leading a dynamic team to deliver exceptional results. The Event Director ensures seamless event delivery, budget compliance, and a high-quality guest experience. Working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, this role plays a critical part in driving engagement, brand recognition, and revenue growth. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as required. NOTE: This is an in-person position located in Burbank, CA. Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end planning and execution of events such as conferences, trade shows, galas, corporate meetings, and product launches; leading development of event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans; managing food and beverage components; managing on-site event operations; developing overall vision, strategy, and objectives for events; identifying new client relationships and revenue opportunities; building and leading a high-performing event team; managing budgets and vendor contracts; coordinating with internal departments; serving as primary contact for stakeholders, sponsors, and VIPs; gathering feedback post-event. Qualifications include BA degree preferred, 8 years of event management experience, 4-6 years team management experience, strong organizational, leadership, budget management, communication skills, proficiency in event management software, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
