Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description

As a Low Voltage Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of cable systems. Your expertise will be essential in terminating Cat 6 and Fiber cables, assembling cable support structures, and pulling cables in both new and existing structures. You will work closely in a two-man team under the guidance of a foreman, primarily servicing locations in Marion and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

• Terminate Cat 6 and Fiber cables efficiently and accurately.
• Install and assemble cable support structures such as Data racks, j-hooks, and camera mounts.
• Pull Cat 6 cables in new and existing structures, ensuring high standards of quality.
• Clean and maintain job sites to uphold safety and organization.
• Collaborate with a foreman in two-man teams to complete projects.
• Travel to job sites primarily within Marion and surrounding counties, with occasional meetings at the shop.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in cable termination, installation, and pulling.
• Experience with Cat 6 cables, Cat 5, and splicing fiber.
• Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Openness to learning and developing skills in electrical, cabling, and wiring.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
