About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Media Director to spearhead our traditional and digital media buying strategies at a fast-paced political advertising agency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in senior media planning and buying roles, with comprehensive knowledge across traditional channels (broadcast, cable, radio, and print) as well as digital platforms (programmatic, OTT/CTV, social media, and search).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of paid media campaigns, ensuring a seamless integration across all channels.
  • Mentor and guide internal teams to promote collaboration and cohesive campaign strategies, driving measurable outcomes.
  • Manage budget allocations to optimize spending, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing reach, frequency, and impact.
  • Work closely with account management, creative teams, analytics, and external vendors to enhance campaign performance.
  • Present media plans and strategies to clients.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices, incorporating relevant innovations into media plans.

Qualifications

  • 710 years of experience in media buying, preferably within an advertising agency setting.
  • Expertise in both traditional media (broadcast TV, cable, radio) and digital platforms (OTT/CTV, programmatic, social media, and paid search).
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and budget management skills.
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams in a collaborative agency environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey strategic recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
