We are currently accepting resumes for a Project Manager IT position in Torrance, CA.

This position is Hybrid .

Salary range: $135k-$145

• Preferred Technology/Application candidates previously worked on:

Implementation of large-scale end-to-end supply chain system for automotive service parts or other consumer products, with integration into the mainframe environment. Some knowledge of the EDI (electronic data interchange), MFT (managed file transfer) and ETL (extract translate load) processes are helpful. SCM applications experience like Blue Yonder is preferred, but not a must.

• Type of project would this PM be supporting:

Service parts procurement, order fulfillment, and WMS related projects. The initial project will be for the Supplier Collaboration project on the procurement side, related to EDI transactions for forecasting, purchase order, ASN (advanced shipment notice).

• Experiences:

This person should have broader understanding of the entire supply chain processes from procurement to dealer order fulfilment, with some WMS experiences.

• Project delivery:

The candidate should have Agile or hybrid experiences as we are transitioning from waterfall to agile.

• Served as Project Manager on the IT side, with experiences in managing the cost/budget, schedule, resource, and mitigating risks.

Daily Tasks Performed

Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan, and managing to the budget. Driving project progress while ensuring alignment with IT management. Status reporting to IT and business management. Requirements analysis, design documentation, testing.

" In addition to PM skills, ability and willingness to perform business analysis tasks (requirements analysis, design documentation, testing) is required.

" Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines across the enterprise.

" Understanding of technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.

" Technical aptitude of multitier and crossplatform architectures across the enterprise.

" Understanding in the information technology landscape stretching from infrastructure, network, client, server, emerging technology standards and trends.

" Effective communication skills. Strong leadership skills.

" Auto industry experience strongly preferred.
