This job serves as a full-time post-graduate internship which provides psychologists-in-training with a variety of clinical experiences, supervision by licensed psychologists, and didactics. Each track includes focused rotations with different patient populations, hands-on supervision/training in basic functions of psychology (assessment, therapy, and consultation) as well as didactic learning in a variety of topics. Job Duties Individual psychotherapy Psychological assessment Group psychotherapy Consultation with interdisciplinary treatment teams Attend 4 hours of didactics per week Participate in 4 hours of supervision per week Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
