VXForward has a great opportunity for QA Automation/ Manual Tester with one of our clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Writing test scripts based on requirements
- Documenting test results
- Following up with business stakeholders to clarify requirements
- Following up with developers to get fixes into QA
- Experience with test documentation tools like Quality Center or capable of creating their own tools using Excel
- Understand the needs of a QA environment
- Production?like: uses the same code as production, except for whats being tested, and has similar data to production
- Integrated: has working interfaces to the test environments in other systems
- Controlled: at any time the QA team knows who is changing what in the QA environment
- 3+ years of QA experience
- Understands the SDLC in agile and waterfall
- Can communicate well in writing
