Job Description:
Located in midcoast Maine, RSU 48 offers a quality education to its students in a preK-8 elementary school that serves the towns of Bremen, Damariscotta and Newcastle. Our secondary students have school choice status. RSU #48 will be a new district as of July 1, 2025.
The district has an opening for a full-time School Psychologist starting in the 25-26 school year and is seeking an experienced candidate to join our district. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent professional judgment and clear, effective communication skills to work successfully with parents and teams of school-based and interdisciplinary professionals. Expertise in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments for school-aged students is required, as is certification through the Maine Department of Education as a school psychologist.
