Job Description

Westfield Public Schools is seeking a qualified applicant for a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant for the 25-26 school year.



JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of authorized administrator shall:

1. Assist in providing therapy to small and large groups of children.
2. Assist in planning therapy activities and in making/coordinating materials.
3. Assist in record keeping.
4. Assist speech pathologist during assessments.
5. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the building principal and/or superintendent of schools.

REPORTS TO:
Special Education Supervisor and Building Principal


The salary and terms of employment will be commensurate with the Westfield Public Schools Unit D collective bargaining agreement.
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield School Committee policy on evaluation.


This position contingent upon funding
