As the company continues to grow alongside the state, it seeks a skilled Welder Fabricator to join its dedicated team. This role involves hands-on fabrication, maintenance, and installation of welding projects, contributing directly to the company's mission of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, maintenance, and installation of welding projects according to company standards and project requirements.
• Operate gas torches, oxy-fuel torches, and manual plasma cutters to cut heavy metal and pipes.
• Utilize various welding techniques, including Flux Core, MIG, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW, with a focus on aluminum materials.
• Work with a variety of materials and ensure dimensional accuracy, squareness, and flatness using appropriate measuring tools.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, sketches, procedures, and both written and verbal instructions.
• Apply finishing techniques such as grinding, sanding, and deburring to completed projects.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support the maintenance of welding equipment within the shop facility as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of welding experience.
• Experience with Flux Core, MIG, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding processes; aluminum welding knowledge required.
• GTAW and sheet metal experience is a plus.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and tape measures accurately.
• General math skills and ability to measure for dimensional requirements.
• Knowledge of various welding and fabrication tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work overtime as required and maintain project schedules.
