About the Company

The Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization. This position requires regular use of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (ERP) to track materials, update inventory, and ensure real-time communication with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and outbound finished goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders.
  • Process shipments accurately using sales orders and packing lists generated by the ERP system.
  • Prepare outbound loads by labeling, wrapping, staging, and verifying quantities for UPS, FedEx, LTL, and all other carriers.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in alignment with 5S practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods; perform cycle counts and support physical inventory as required.
  • Enter receipts, transfers, and shipments into Microsoft Dynamics Business Central; maintain accuracy in all data entry.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service, supply chain, and production teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Adhere to ISO9001:2015 quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, is strongly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Capable of safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (Gardian will provide certification).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort navigating inventory software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This role operates in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

May be exposed to moderate noise, machinery, and temperature changes.
